As a body established by statute, SAL also undertakes statutory functions such as stakeholding services and appointment of Senior Counsel, Commissioners for Oaths and Notaries Public.

Responsibilities:

Legal Technology Project requires the student to be involved in product development from inception to implementation.

The scope of the project is for the student to:

• Perform R&D and create prototypes
• Augment the development team (if and when there is one)
• (Co-)develop the web application

Students would be involved in:

• UI design/ UX
• Application design
• Coding and testing
• Deployment

Ideally, the student should be conversant in the following areas:

• AWS
• Web-based application development (including SPA)
• SQL/NoSQL database
• XML technologies (including XQuery, XSLT)
